A 1:18 metal model of the Bugatti Bolide, the track-only hypercar built around the Chiron's W16, with the X-pattern tail lights, exposed rear framework, opening doors and a smoke effect from the exhausts.
Often searched for as a Bugatti Bolide 1:18diecast toy car. This is a collector's diecast model rather than a toy.

The Bolide is what Bugatti built when it stopped worrying about road rules: 1,600 hp, a kerb weight of 1,240 kg and a body that looks like it has been peeled back to the structure. The model's rear is where that shows. The X-shaped tail lights, the exposed diffuser and the rear wing on its slender uprights are all separate parts, and you can see through the rear framework to the engine cover the way you can on the real car.
The roof carries the dimpled air scoop that changes shape at speed on the real car, moulded in its low-speed profile. Doors open forward. The front wheels steer. This version has a mist effect: a small reservoir under the chassis puffs a harmless water vapour from the exhausts when the button is pressed, which is a gimmick, but a good one for a car this theatrical. Paint is the Bolide's own blue and black split with the carbon areas in satin.
This is the model we hand to people who want to see what 1:18 can do with a modern shape. It is the most unusual silhouette on the Bugatti shelf.
At 1:18 this is a large model, roughly a ruler's length, and it is built as a display piece rather than a toy. Expect metal body panels with proper hinges, a carpeted or textured floor inside, and a finished engine bay under the bonnet. Give it about 30 cm of shelf width and lift it by the roof or chassis, not the bumpers.
