About the BMW M4 Competition G82 1:24
The G82 M4 is the one with the grille, and whatever you think of it, a model that got it wrong would be pointless. Here the two vertical kidneys are a separate chromed frame with black mesh behind, set into the bumper as on the car, and the M4's wide, flared rear arches and the quad exhausts are all in place. The roof is finished in black to suggest the carbon fibre roof panel.
The doors open onto a cabin with the M sport seats in a contrasting colour and the curved display on the dash. The bonnet lifts over the twin-turbo straight-six. The wheels are the M4's staggered star-spoke design with painted brake discs behind them, on rubber tyres. Paint on this batch is a metallic green in the style of the launch colour.
It suits a BMW driver or anyone who wants the newest M car on a shelf; the E30 M3 in 1:18 is the ancestor if you want both ends of the story.
Living with a 1:24 scale model
