About the 1:24 4WD
The blue edition of the 1:24 muscle drift car: the same 4WD chassis, slick drift tyres and proportional 2.4 GHz radio as the white car, under a blue shell. Four-wheel drive is what makes a small drift car controllable; a rear-drive one spins out, this one slides and comes back when you steer into it.
LED headlights are wired into the shell. The battery charges over USB in about an hour for 20 to 30 minutes of running, and the controller needs two AA cells that are not in the box. Spare drift tyres are included, and the front pair are the ones that wear first.
Buy it with the white edition and you have two cars that pair to their own controllers and can race in the same room.
Living with a 1:24 RC car
At 1:24 the model is around 19 cm long, compact enough for a desk and big enough for the doors to open and the dashboard to be readable. This is the scale to buy if you want a few cars rather than one, and the pull-back motor and lights make it the safest choice for a young enthusiast.
