About the VW Polo Rally
The orange-and-powder-blue Gulf scheme is the most famous livery in motorsport, worn by the Le Mans Fords and Porsches of the 1960s and 70s, and it looks right on a rally Polo. This is the same compact 4WD drift car as the blue Polo, in that livery, with the graphics printed on the shell.
It runs on a 2.4 GHz radio that pairs to its own car, so it can race the blue Polo in the same room. Proportional steering and throttle, LED lights, USB charging, and AA cells for the controller that are not included. Cones and spare drift tyres are in the box.
The pair, blue and Gulf, is what we suggest for two siblings or for a parent and child.
Living with a RC car
This is a remote control car first and a model second: the body is plastic to keep weight down and the chassis carries the battery and steering servo. It charges over USB and runs for 20 to 30 minutes per charge.
