About the Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon Brabus G800 1:24
The G-Class has been the same box since 1979 and the Brabus G800 is what happens when a tuner puts 800 hp under it and adds carbon fibre to every flat surface. The model is the Brabus car rather than a standard G63: it has the widened arches with the exposed rivets, the roof-edge light bar, the carbon bonnet scoop and the side-exit exhausts modelled as chromed tubes ahead of the rear wheels.
All four doors open, and the rear door swings out with the spare wheel cover on it. The bonnet lifts over the V8. The mirrors fold, the front wheels steer with the steering wheel, and the button brings up the headlamps and tail lights with an engine sample. The body is metal in black with the Brabus badging printed on the grille and the wheel centres.

Living with a 1:24 scale model
