About the Toyota Land Cruiser LC300 GR Sport 1:18
The 300 Series replaced the 200 in 2021 with a twin-turbo V6 in place of the V8 and, in GR Sport form, a grille that spells TOYOTA in block letters instead of wearing the badge. That grille is the first thing on the model, moulded as a separate black insert. The rest of the car keeps the Land Cruiser proportions that Indian buyers know from the road: tall, square, with the flat bonnet and the near-vertical tailgate.
Four doors open. The cabin shows the second-row seats and the large centre screen, and the tailgate lifts onto a boot with the third-row seats folded. The bonnet opens over the V6. Wheels are the GR Sport's dark 18-inch design with the red GR calipers visible behind them, and the front pair steer. Paint on this batch is a pearl white with black trim.
It suits anyone who drives a Fortuner and wants the next one up, or who has the LC200 in 1:24 and wants to see the generations side by side. It is one of the taller 1:18s, so allow 14 cm of shelf height.
Living with a 1:18 scale model
At 1:18 this is a large model, roughly a ruler's length, and it is built as a display piece rather than a toy. Expect metal body panels with proper hinges, a carpeted or textured floor inside, and a finished engine bay under the bonnet. Give it about 30 cm of shelf width and lift it by the roof or chassis, not the bumpers.
