About the Toyota GR Supra Liberty Walk 1:18
Liberty Walk kits cut the original arches off and bolt wider ones on, rivets showing, and the Supra has become one of their signature cars. This model is that build rather than a factory Supra: the arch extensions are separate parts with each rivet moulded, the front splitter reaches almost to the ground, and the swan-neck wing stands high off the boot on its two mounts. Look at the arch edges in the photos; that is where a manufacturer either spends money or does not, and here it did.
Doors open onto the Supra's driver-focused cabin with the digital dash printed, and the bonnet lifts over the BMW-sourced straight-six. Wheels are deep-dish multi-spokes with stretched tyres in the kit style, and the front pair steer. Paint on this batch is white with the kit parts in satin black.
It is the pair for the wide-body R35 GT-R in the same scale, and it suits anyone who follows the Japanese tuning scene or has seen these cars at a meet.
Living with a 1:18 scale model
At 1:18 this is a large model, roughly a ruler's length, and it is built as a display piece rather than a toy. Expect metal body panels with proper hinges, a carpeted or textured floor inside, and a finished engine bay under the bonnet.
