About the Range Rover 1:24
The 2022 Range Rover is the one with almost no lines on it: a single unbroken side, hidden tail lights and a roof painted black so the glasshouse reads as one dark band. The model keeps that simplicity, with the roof in gloss black up to the pillars, the flush door handles picked out, and the rear light bar as a smoked strip across the tail.
Doors, bonnet and tailgate open, and opening a door brings up the lights and the engine sample. The cabin has the twin-screen dashboard and the rear bench, and the bonnet lifts over the V8. The rear axle carries a pull-back motor. The body is metal.
It is the affordable Range Rover; the 1:18 Vogue and Autobiography SV are the licensed, larger versions with the split tailgate and steering.
Living with a 1:24 scale model
At 1:24 the model is around 19 cm long, compact enough for a desk and big enough for the doors to open and the dashboard to be readable. This is the scale to buy if you want a few cars rather than one, and the pull-back motor and lights make it the safest choice for a young enthusiast.
