JDM diecast models

Almost none of the cars in this collection were ever sold new in India. Their following comes from Gran Turismo, from Initial D and from the Fast and Furious films, and the models sell to people who know the R34's engine code and can tell an AE86 Trueno from a Levin by the headlights. That knowledge raises the bar: a JDM model has to get the wheels, the wing and the stance right or the people buying it will notice.

The R34 Skyline GT-R is the most requested model on this site, ahead of the Defender. We keep it in stock in three forms: a 1:18 in Midnight Purple with an opening bonnet and the RB26 modelled, a 1:24 in the Brian O'Conner blue and silver livery from 2 Fast 2 Furious, and its successor the R35 in 1:18 as a wide-body build. They sell out and come back; join the alert list if the one you want shows as sold out.

Several models here are built as modified cars rather than factory stock: the Supra GR in a Liberty Walk kit with riveted arches and a swan-neck wing, the R35 with a Schafer-style body. These are legitimate subjects; the real cars exist and the kits are licensed to their makers even where the base car is not. On a model, a wide-body kit is a good test of the manufacturer, because the arches are separate parts and the rivets have to be moulded individually. Look closely at the arch edges in the photos.

Not everyone wants a drift car. The Land Cruiser LC200 and LC300, the Corolla and the Vellfire are here for anyone whose Toyota memories are of a family car rather than a race track, and the Honda NSX from 1990 is for those who remember when Honda built a supercar to embarrass Ferrari. The Lexus models fill the same role. They are the ones we suggest for a parent or an older relative who drove one.
